Honestly, i don’t quite like fruit cake.. but who can resist this cake?
This cake is exceptionally marvellous.. the taste is just right, not too this and not too that (whatever that means!).. thanks soo much to Norazie for sharing this wonderful recipe. sorry the recipe is in Bahasa.. I only made half of this recipe..
KEK BUAH KUKUS – Norazie
Bahan:
2 tin butter cap golden churn
atau 680g butter packet
600g tepung gandum – ambil segenggam utk gaul dgn buah
600g gula – asing 300g utk gula hangus
2 sudu teh cream of tartar
2 sudu teh bikarbonat of soda
telur 5 bjii gred A atau 8 gred B
satu sudu serbuk buah pala
800g mix fruit – make sure beli yg fresh
Cara:
Mix butter & 300g gula hingga kembang, masukkan telur satu persatu. Ayak tepung + cream of tartar & bikarbonat of soda & serbuk buah pala. Masukkan dlm adunan butter tadi dan pukul perlahan hingga sebati. Masak dlm bekas lain 300g gula tanpa air hingga menjadi gula hangus [kaler gelap & berbuih2]. Jalan mesin no. 1.5..slow… masukkan air gula hangus panas ke dalam adunan tepung perlahan2 hingga habis..[hati2 air gula panas]. Selesai, naikkan kelajuan mesin hingga air gula & tepung sebati. tutup. Gaulkan segenggam tepung yg dah diasingkan tadi dgn mix fruit. Tabur buah dlm mangkuk adunan. Gaul sebentar – jgn lama sebab buah akan mendak. Tips: Gaul dgn mesin, satu dua round sahaja atau gaul dgn sudip kayu cukup
